Stem Cell Core

The Mission of the
iPSC Core is to provide research grade iPSCs and other relevant cell types to investigators, and to facilitate the generation of clinical quality cells for human cell therapy.

Induced pluripotent stem cell (IPSC) technology is on the cutting edge of modern medical science, generating individualized stem cell therapies from mature cells, (such as skin), to provide patient specific progenitor cells for directed repair of any tissue type. See the currently available and forthcoming iPSC derived cells available in the Stem Cell Core on the
Services page. IPS technology offers major therapeutic advances in tissue regeneration and gene replacement therapies. Moreover, iPS technology is an ideal in vitro model to study disease etiology and drug screening.
