Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Pluripotent Stem Cell Facility
The mission of the
Pluripotent Stem Cell Facility (PSCF) is to facilitate and support all aspects of human pluripotent stem cell (hPSC) research at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. We provide access to the necessary laboratory space, equipment, training, protocols and validated reagents for laboratories to expand their research into the use of hPSCs.
Services offered by the PSCF include:
1. Distribution of quality tested hESC and iPSC lines to investigators
2. Generation of novel human iPSCs from either PBMCs or fibroblasts
3. Access to routine hPSC characterization and quality control assays
4. CRISPR/Cas9-mediated genome editing of hPSCs
5. hPSC-derived human intestinal organoid (HIO) production
6. Hands-on training course in routine hPSC culture
7. Hands-on training in HIO generation
8. Development and implementation of directed differentiation protocols
9. Consultation for manuscript/grant preparation and regulatory protocols (ESCRO)
